Location

If you are driving to Florence, there are two public garages on our block (24hrs.). All bus lines and taxi stands are 50 meters away. In the evenings you can walk to the many "trattorie" and restaurants that offer the best in Tuscan dishes.

The Hotel Hermes is 50 mt far from the main Santa Maria Novella Train Station and only two blocks far from Fortezza da Basso and Palazzo dei Congressi, fashion and convention centers thus making it an ideal base for touring or working trips. All the main monuments, museums and historical markets and sights are within walking distance.

There is a car park next to the hotel, which offers discounts to our guests.

The Hotel Hermes is located outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone) so you can comfortably reach us by your car.

By Car: from Milan take the Autostrada A1 south and get off at the Firenze Nord exit, then follow the signs to CENTRO and/or STAZIONE. From Rome, take the Autostrada A1 north and get off at the Firenze Sud exit. Follow the signs to CENTRO and/or STAZIONE.

By Train: Get off at the main SMN train station. After the platforms take right, go down the big stairway, take right again and walk 50 mt cross the street and the hotel is at number 11.

By Plane: Take the airport shuttle or the city bus which will take you directly to the SMN train station. Taxis are also available.
